Helene assaults Montreat and Black Mountain, NC

I just spoke with a pastor at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church who had to get off the line quickly to continue delivering aid and hot meals to hard hit families.  They have no electricity but do still have gas.   The entire area has been hit hard, some notable towns like Chimney Rock and Lake Lure almost wiped out due to damn breaks. The image above captures the extend of damage in Black Mountain.  Power is out everywhere, lives lost,  and countless homes destroyed.

PLEASE CONSIDER coming to the aid of Black Mountain, for feeding, housing, and in time helping rebuild.  You can also support Montreat, which sits higher up but was also hit hard.
