** 2010-2011 Annual Colloquy **
Calvinism and the Rule of Law:  Struggles over Religion and Human Rights

Led by Dr. David Little, recently retired from Harvard Divinity School as the Professor of the Practice in Religion, Ethnicity, and International Conflict at Harvard Divinity School as well as an Associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. Dr. Little has extensive experience outside the academy with the topic and has reflected deeply on the issues involved. There will be reading involved to prepare for discussion at each session from authors such as Mary Ann Glendon, John Calvin, John Witte and David Little himself. The colloquy will be held at  will take place on the following four weekends:
Oct. 1-2, 2010
Dec. 3-4, 2010
Feb. 4-5, 2011
Apr. 1-2, 2011
It is expected that participants will make this commitment only if they are available for all four weekends, emergencies excepted, of course.
The Friday sessions begin at 3:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m., dinner included. The Saturday sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m., lunch included.

The cost of the colloquy is $375 for members of sponsoring churches and $400 for others. Please contact Mary Hill (703-518-5125) to register.
